Morning all its a beautiful day! Sun shining! Slight breeze, little fluffy clouds!
I've got two gladioli out now! And some great blousey hollyhocks!
The garden glows at dusk all the purples and blues look ultra violet and I've a yellow dahlia that reminds me of my fluorescent socks back in the eighties!
I've a lot to do as we are moving after fifteen years to the downstairs flat that my SIL currently lives in. I'm delighted as it means I will be able to step out the door into the garden instead of having to go out the front and round the back. I'll almost be able to forget I'm in the town!
It will be downsizing a little as it's one room less but there is three room basement that once damp treated, I can keep the hubby in
He may be there sooner as its our wedding anniversary today! We will see!
Happy anniversary Wonky. If basement can be damp proofed, i'd make it a den for yourself, could be a very cosy hideaway ...... a cup of tea/glass of wine and a good book
Thank you all for your kind thoughts, wishes and hugs ( they're the best )
That so many of you took time to post comment to cheer up someone you've never met is truly heartwarming.
I've spoken to OH this morning: he's still upset by the whole thing so I've told him to move out and sod her bloody garden and go back and stay at our friends' place where he normally stays when working "up country"
Grey, overcast and ,as usual very breezy here this morning.
Watching a juvenile blackbird chasing a collared dove away from the bird food making me laugh. I think this might be the 3rd lot of blackbird babies we've had this year. I do love my wee birds.

Morning all. We had storms in the night, now it is lovely and cool, 15°. Was 27° in our room last night. Arthritis played up, had very bad night.
Daughter and family here, has I've said, and son and family coming to see them this afternoon. I need more supplies. Going to supermarket.
