    DD we had a few stunning gentlemen stay at our holiday let, but unfortunately they always rather lovely wives with them. Hey ho.

    right, I've been in settings, clicked on edit , found a photo and clicked on it and clicked on save, NOWT.

    Is the photo too big ?  There's a size limit stated somewhere ...

    no idea about size Dove, it's the photo I posted of my garden.

    I clicked on browse, then click on the photo and clicked on open, then it just dissappears.

    Hosta, that's quite a 'busy' picture - it may have too many pixcels to reduce down to the size for an avatar - try with something simpler.
