    Morning all.

It is not raining, so that is major progress.

Duck saga has taken on a new twist, at dawn this morning no mallards, but a pair of Mandarins!

    Have a lovely day all.

Sunny and calm here, but cold at the moment.  No gardening today - my sister's coming down from Newcastle to visit mum (and me!).

Verdun, today is April 2nd.  Did you intend to post re Tesco yesterday??  image

One of my gardening customers in Northumberland had mallards who nested in the shrubs under her living room window.  Every year she had to shepherd the ducklings across the road when it was time for them to leave the nest, down to the river.  image

Dove, (hugs) to you and your ma.  Thanks for good wishes for mine!  image

Morning all. Back from Granny duties at son's. Over 4 hours drive away. Granddaughters, 3 and 9 months were very good. DIL's parents are taking over for today and tomorrow.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Oh dear, didn't wake up until 10.45image.  Hosta had put in half a shift by then.

Not really a long lie in person, usually wake up with a headache if I do but not today, so maybe I needed it.

Today I will be mostly spraying the bugs on the yellow shrub in the front garden (forgotten the name at the mo) in the hope that I can keep it and glysophating the japanese anemones that keep poking through in the back garden.  I feel like the terminator.

House finally back to order after the decorating finished.  Hate being upside down.  Hope everyone has a good day whatever they are up to.
