We are going into Edinburgh to meet friends later today by train but doubt our train will look like yours chicky. Have to sort out the car which is on the brink of a major breakdown - such a weird noise. Managed to fill my cold frame yesterday and hope that all my other seedlings will fit in the mini greenhouse when the time comes.
Bekkie your present to your Mum sounds lovely and would love to have a peek at it too.
Rb, hope you've had a good sleep and feel better today
All day in the garden for me today, can't wait, so much to do and so little time, although Charlie is considering not entering Judo competition tomorow so I might get an extra afternoon in the garden.
Also, dropped magazines off at my friends and came home with a box of plants (too many for her own garden), thank you very much.
Have a good day all.

Sadly, my train doesn't look like that either Lesley
Had forgotten it was red nose day - lots of them about already. Hope it doesn't mean GW is cancelled tonight . I have a long day ahead, but should be back in time to see my weekly dose of Gardening tv.
Hope those with a gardening day ahead of them have fun (jealous sigh) and those who have visitors or are visiting enjoy themselves. SYL
Good morning all - bright sunshine here this morning and the birds are singing for Britain
Matty - good decision! Not selfish - very sensible - little ones don't need crowds and lots of new people all at once - they need gentle introductions one by one, getting used to the special people in their life. And baby doesn't need the risk of additional germs etc, (and neither do you) - so don't feel guilty. Enjoy!!!
Hope cars, journeys, dogs, LOs, OHs and any other contributory factors all behave themselves today - after all, it's nearly the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
KEF it's just our usual catch-up today but I will consider it the start of the celebrations, though it's not quite the word I'd choose. The boys are a bit put out because it's my birthday tomorrow and Mothers Day on Sunday
