i went to a carol service last night at chester cathedral in aid of the neuromuscular centre winsford .christmas has started for my family mince pies on the dresser enjoy
Good on you Panda, fundraising I mean, not round two..Enjoy your night.
A male work mate once fetched the works tree home on the last day on the bus. No we didn't stand at the wrong side of the road waiting for the bus Think a bit of pop had been drunk that day.
Panda, we cut the top 2/3rds off the tree to take home, he carried it and we had the baubles. He had to sit on a side seat and we stood around him so no-one was poked. Don't know what happened when he got off the bus, few stops after me. Driver was probably chilled by the beer fumes.
Don't remember whose idea it was but the lad lived alone and didn't have a Christmas tree.
Busy couple of days, started early yesterday morning with a phone call from elderly neighbour at 7 0 clock to ask if we could go round as she had water pouring through the kitchen ceiling,we rushed round in dressing gowns to discover a plastic nut on the side of the toilet cistern had split and water had obviously been pouring through the ceiling for most of the night. Turned off water, called her daughter who is nearby, and a plumber, moved furniture.etc.,
Sodden carpets now outside, her daughter has sorted out the insurance, the ceiling will need to come down (unless it falls down first).Felt so sorry for her as she has been unwell this year.

Hello everyone,
Busy couple of days, started early yesterday morning with a phone call from elderly neighbour at 7 0 clock to ask if we could go round as she had water pouring through the kitchen ceiling,
we rushed round in dressing gowns to discover a plastic nut on the side of the toilet cistern had split and water had obviously been pouring through the ceiling for most of the night. Turned off water, called her daughter who is nearby, and a plumber, moved furniture.etc.,
Sodden carpets now outside, her daughter has sorted out the insurance, the ceiling will need to come down (unless it falls down first).Felt so sorry for her as she has been unwell this year.
the concert was followed by a champagne reception
