Good morning all, looks set to be another fine day. Off to Wyevales later, over 60's day and a handful of vouchers to spend.
Off to Beeches also, first of my cousins died suddenly, a tree to get, nothing delicate he was a big man.
In the garden a hedgehog habitat to build, waste not wont not, a brand new cracked bathroom sink upturned stuffed with leaves and surrounded by logs and covered in earth and planted with Epimediums, at least that's the plan.
Sorry to hear about your cousin AWB. I love your way of remembering people though - trees for memories.
So pleased the hongkongers arrived safely LPilly - have a wonderful time with them. Has little GD changed very much?
Bought the ingredients for Nigellas choc cake last night - it was a hit, and has been requested again. Will make it this evening, in time for Chicklets 18th(!!!) tomorrow. Seems like our year of landmark birthdays just goes on and on
Beautiful day again, will be outside most of it I'm sure. OH has repaired my garden bench so now it needs a coat of paint, awkward thing to do but glad to see it looking smarter, was beginning to think we might lose it.
So much weeding to do to and have been given whole pile of cuttings as well, so them to sort out. All very exciting though, so nice to be back working in the garden.
Have a good day everyone, Happy 18th to chicklet, enjoy the cake, sounds yummy.

Runnybeak - good point. Perhaps I need to research plastering techniques instead of gardening ideas! Quietly convinced if I had him help me unload my car and him haul the plaster board inside he'd soon change his mind about leaving me to it.
Lovely and sunny here this morning: must mean it's back to work for me!
