    Thanks Dove.

The beds he's filling to-day are 1.8m x 1m x .3m , so he should be able to pretty much dump the barrow load into place.

    Devon.

Took Flynn for his second walk of the day at 8am, perusing my garden for signs of life then the online shopping turned up (nothing missing for once) and I finished putting it away at 9.15! I think I broke the laws of physics getting it all inimage so now I'm chilling a bit, washing on, bathroom cleaned, washing on, beds made...puppy play date looming and OH has decided to paint the stairsimage we'll see how that ends up

    Morning all.

My horse has very sore back feet. Called the vet, he says no obvious problems, like an abscess, but she has very thin soles and all this rain and wet ground has softened the hoof so it's like she's wearing bedroom slippers. I had her shoes taken off for winter as I knew I wouldn't ride, but vet thinks she may have needed the protection.image

If I feel well enough, limbs are like lead, I must repot the blueberries and there is a load of pruning to do.

Sowed lots of flower seeds yesterday, in propagators and motley patisseries trays on window sill.

Busy-Lizzie - only in France could you have "motley patisserie trays" for your plants....image

SGLily - thanks for that site - I didn't know that one - some great patterns on there image

BL - poor horse - sore feet are no fun - the livery stable I used to use had a mare with a similar problem - casting my mind back I think they had to keep her indoors in the dry and on a firm-ish surface for a while until her hooves had hardened and she could be shod.  image it was a long while ago ...
