terribly cold here today. Now wind building again.
OH had good post op check then we went " down the valley" and got lots of potatoes, onions and I fell for the surfinia, always happens. 8 for £3 not bad
Over the years I have found if I bring them on early enough in the greenhouse there is a superb hanging basket from one plant.
heres hoping it happens again.

Lilly, At Grasslands.co.uk a 2ltr pot is £3.44 (with an earlybird discount) but postage is around £6.00 to west mids I think it depends on where you are.
Here's this old Canadian complainer again but I'm really down in the dumps, since I had the flu at Christmas my lungs have been deteriorating at a fast pace. The specialist thinks it could be an infection,I don't think so.I am now on oxygen and I hate it.Thanks for listening to an old man complain.
Sorry to hear you are so poorly Bill. There's a lot of it around over here too. Try not to get too down, hopefully the weather will improve soon and you will begin to feel better.
Marmalade has spent the night outdorrs again and returned (thru cat flap) happily this morning bearing no extra war wounds - however, he had to have the door opened for him, refused to use the cat flap to go out.
BL glad to see you up and about, great pics, love snow (in the mountains), hope the little one is soon up & about again too.
Morning Bill, sounds like you are having a horrid time, feel free to complain. I hope you start to feel better soon too.
Off to a wine festival today at Brive.

Bill I'm sorry to hear you've still not got over the after effects of the flu. You will probably improve with the weather. Hope Mrs Bill is doing OK. Keep in touch.
Glorious crocus' 1of7. I will put a few hundred on my wish list for next year. I only have a few straggly ones that have escaped OH's weeding with a garden fork
Lizzie what lovely pics. Nice to see such enjoyment
DD - it certainly looks as though the flap is OK for coming in. Have a lovely time at the wine festival and hope you're not the driver
Hope you're feeling a bit better this morning Dove.
Liri I wonder if the wren is just roosting in the compost bin or has designs on a centrally heated nest site.
Sorry you are poorly Bill, sounds like you need some nice warm sunshine
DD, looks like you will have to leave a litter tray in the kitchen when you go away, im sure when theres no other option, marmalade will use it, at least you know he can get in and wont be shut out . that wine festival sounds nice, have a good time
Liri, i think that wren may be looking for a nest site too, what a clever little bird! Dunno if its true, i saw a programme that said they loose some stupid amound of weight by trying to keep warm at night, seems your little lodger has found a way around it!
Lesley, ive got a couple of clumps of those crocus, they mustve been pound shop jobbies, but i was very glad to see them in the sunshine yesterday
