    Hello gorgeous Forkers image

So, OH changed his mind and decided I would win big! (thanks for echoing that claim Lilyimage) Well, rather than win a bingo prize I cleaned up on the raffle! If it wasn't Christmas I might have suggested that my second winning ticket went back in. But I didn't, so I grabbed a tub of heroes - any takers? I then sent a friend up for my third prize! Lucky me!

Dove, hope your brother and fellow farmers don't loose too much.

Agree with Verdun - a great man, who changed so many lives. Legend is an overused word, but in this case it's appropriate

Time for bed. I hope everyone is safe and dry. The east coast looks to be in a bad way.

  • Ooops,  fell asleep on  the sofa time for bed.

    Well done Panda!  image

Morning all. Hope you're all safe after yesterday's weather. Very sad about Nelson Mandela, a well respected man, agree Chicky he really was a legend. Take care all.

Nelson Mandela - a hero for all of my life -  what a huge difference he has made to the world and how he will be missed image

My family are all safe image although the various communities where they live are all surrounded by flood water and they are cut off.   It is likely that they will remain cut off for the next couple of days until the forthcoming tidal surges die down.  Many of the smaller communities are also without electricity.

  • Good morning everyone.

Hope all are safe. Just watching an amazing sunrise. Must mean we are getting our share of weather soon.

Sad about Nelson Mandela but he's been ill for so long and glad he's at peace now.

Good morning all. I agree with what has been said about Nelson Mandela.

Hoping that when all inspect today that no serious damage has been done. Good to hear that costal tides are not as bad this morning. Let's just hope people can go home and have electric very soon.

Food shopping today, won't complain as yesterday I daren't get the car out.

    Have a good day all.
