Oh , and I bought some Rose harissa. I fancy doing something with it and chickpeas. I've got to start doing something adventurous seeing as I've eliminated pastry, pizza, and pasta and cakes and biscuits. I have noticed that I seem to be better at sticking to this than himself. Its supposed to be for his benefit.image

  • Twas ever thus, Fidget...  the only way I can get my OH to do his knee exercises (he played too much football in his youth) is to do them with him.  image

A lovely-looking early evening, but there's a raw wind.  I've put off the rose pruning for another day, and had a snooze on the sofa instead...  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Went really nice again this afternoon so I popped out and cleaned the propagator and tidied up a bit.  Spent ages looking for one of the trays, even checked the bin to see I had thrown it away with som rubbish from the greenhouse.  After about an hour I realised that I had the sweet peas standing up in it. image

No idea what's for tea here, Hubby is out this evening and I can't really be bothered.  So if anyone has anything nice going spare let me know.

KEF - Seen your PM but it wont let me reply. I thought I had posted them! Oh gods I hope great aunt Mavis didn't get them I've no idea where they've gone! image

If anyone could build me a new brain I'd be very grateful. This one is starting to get worse I'm sure.

Reggie not pleased with my daffodil replanting managed to dig a hole two foot deep in seconds. I kid you not on the depth I kept quite nervous leaning into it to fill it back up! Now to train him to dig over where the vegetable plot will be and leave the rest to me. Bless he looked so pleased with himself!

    Evening all.

5 grandchildren are quite noisy, but 9 yr old not well, went to Doc, he has a nasty abscess on his tonsil that daughter's doc didn't notice.

We had Spag Bol this evening. Used up some of the garden tomato purée from freezer.

    Been raining all day.
