Well...image I'm not writing my life's story again.

Short version: no gym. in garden. Flynn found a dead dove. I moved a huge Clematis. OH stood on it to repair fence panel image the end.

It really was there a few minutes ago Doveimage.  I've been wondering about fairy too.  Hope all is well with her and the girls and also with Frank.

Your compost sounds really good Winter.  Mine takes about two years to be useable.  I really must turn it more often.

You sound as though you're cracking on Liriimage

imageI think the forum had a touch of the lurgy about 5 - 10 mins ago. Couldn't move from page to page and I suspect another posting on another thread has gone astray (rec'd a notification but no posting after mine).

Hope all poorly peeps are on the mend.

Wintersong - you need to sit down - you are making me tired image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

  • Glad youve managed to get a bit of kip Yvie, i suspected you couldnt have brufen, thats rotten luck especially with how much youve been using your muscles recently!image

Seems the forum has gremlins again then! Did someone say it was something to do with the ads? Hope it dosent carry on.

Good about your compost winter, not so much for the dove! image

Thats a good idea about the bark Liri, sounds like you have been busy too! image

Wish i had read your post earlier RB, just walked OHs grandads dog and got drenched!

Sorry about your wellies Lesley! Do you have a decathelon store by you?i had my last pair from there, they are fab and only a tenner! image

LP, this will sound odd, but no one has told me why i get so much pain, i assume its ME/ fibromyalgia, one doc i saw said if you have one you also get the other, think the strong meds are just to get me to go away!image. Have a good catch up with your friend, even if there is no cake....you will have to make up for it when you get home, you know the rule, if you eat salad first, cake has no calories!image

BM, i honestly dont know how you have done so much in the last few weeks, that house will look like a picture from one of those posh mags! Please take it steady or you will be good for nothing tomorrow! image

    Afternoon all.

Cold, wet and windy [ and that's just me ]

Lots of window sill seeds starting to germinate, which is great, but no idea where I will find room for everything when I start pricking out.

How can you lie there and think of England

Back in doors since rain stopped playimage

I did manage to dig and rake over where OH's feet had been in my border so it looks fluffy soil again and I planted a Euonymus under a climbing rose to fill a dead corner and used the big terracotta pot it was in to plant a Box roundy-pyramid that I got in the sale few weeks back for £4. Should have been £30image

As you and I know folks, some things that look half dead are only pretending, its already shooting away new growth, unlike the dove from earlierimage

It was a beautiful thing although I'm not sure entirely if it isn't just a rink necked wood pigeon? It was pure white with a thin black or dark ring around its neck. In perfect condition when I found it, just very successfully deadimage

    Early bath time!image
