Verdun , wise words, but I plant densely, if in 30 years they are to close together I will rejoice and cut them down.

verdun and AWB your comments made me smile, I'm not at all sure if I can manage not to over plant, but will try - and then I'll complain when I have to cut and dig out! No winners in this garden business! Live and carry on making the same mistakes again..

FB think ive got that - chop crossing branches, then when growth starts cut to 3 buds.

PD what car are you thinking of - of course I'm only asking what colour.?

FG if you're around I've just replied to an old PM!

snowdrops looking good but not much sign of oth bulbs yet.

Evening all, Well what a day, to say it rained really is an understatement.

I did go to the garden centre however and bought a few starter plants (haven't got room to grow all of my own) bought two fuchsia Bella Rosella, 4 White Osteospermums and 6 Helichrysum Gold. Nice little sturdy plants that should grow on well.

Have finally washed the last of the towels, drying as we speak.

Back on Nanna duty tomorrow and tuesday so lots of cuddles but not much gardening.

Sorry those with colds are feeling so poorly, hope you feel better soon.
