Rest of the household still sleeping. The birthday girl has requested a day trip to Brighton - so thats where we are off to in a bit. Cake to look forward to when we get back. Susan, I got the recipe from folks on here .....a couple of pages back Dove posted the link (fraid I don't have the skills to post links myself)
Good morning all Up a bit later this morning and for a change I'm not saying goodmorning still in my jimjams - showered, dressed, coiffed and with face on and listening to Sounds of the Sixties - singing along to the Ronettes and eating toast and paté and drinking more coffee
Cake looks scrummy Chicky! Hope the birthday girl enjoys her day
I'm surrounded by cardboard boxes, bits of the new Henry vac, lampshades that have been taken down, the bureau and the coatstand from the hall - chaos!!! This Henry has more accessories than any I've ever seen.
Today I have to make a moussaka and bring order to chaos - not sure in which order
More coffee anyone?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning fellow Forkers, Not so cold today but very grey and murky.
Tom Selleck is def not my cup of tea. Never liked facial hair. I too had to google the hair, really nice, real short hair doesn't suit me, makes me look more like a witch than a pixie.
Bekkie, I've been married 40 years this year and he's still not housetrained. Definitely think it's a case of nature rather than nurture when it comes to men.
Still in dressing gown drinking tea, haven't managed to get as far as the shower yet. Haven't got much on the agenda for today apart from visiting mum. So I will have to summon all my willpower not to give in to my addiction.
Mines not properly house trained either......blame his mum.....
Lounge, kitchen loos, bathroom done. Stopping for a cuppa then doing hall and stairs. Bedrooms ok will then put another wash load on, then thats my lots for today phewwwww
Broadband engineer coming Monday morning after OH had two long and barely understandable conversations with a call centre in India They are still adamant that slow speeds are due to inside problems, which is incorrect as our ex BT broadband engineer friend has checked everything out and has told us exactly what the problem is with the wiring outside. The call centre wanted OH to dismantle the router I think they would then have found an inside fault and charged us which would cover their costs of sending an engineer to rectify outside problem
I hope Beaus isn't using the same supplier or we might not see her again!
