Clari - relieved you got the bid submitted in time!  image  Hope you survive the weekend's busy schedule.

Dove, I liked your link to the rug artist.  Her cushion covers are fab too!  Might be a while before I reach her standard though.  But it's really good fun, and a great use for the treasured materials I've been squirreling away for years...  image

My ears are cold.  image  I knew it was a mistake to have my hair cut.

I love guinea pigs but they have no sense of personal hygiene. Cute though.

Clari, jolly well done!  They should give you a medal!!!  and a day off!!! ((hugs))

We'll sort your weeds out for you this weekend, won't we folks!? image

It's a beautiful morning out there  - I've just been feeding the robins by hand on the terrace - lots of other birds out there too, coal tits, greenfinch, goldfinch, house sparrows, blue tits, great tits, dunnocks, wren, blackbird, collared dove, starlings and there's a green woodpecker yaffling from over the other side of the fence image

Morning all you lovely people - we have sun imageimage

Off in  a  few mins so just having a quick browse while I have a cuppa. Well done Clari - I know what it's like to work long weekends - we're all with you in spirit image

Oldest fairy used to have a guinea pig - I quite liked him. Made him a little run to go out on the grass. She was devastated when he died image

    See you all later - have a great day - don't do anything I wouldn't do..image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Good morningimage.

Are you walking today Fairy?  It really is a lovely morningimage.  I had thought of going to Gardening Scotland but there is so much to do in the garden I should really get cracking on that.  I'm sure OH would rather we didn't go (cup final dayimage).

KEF I'd be happy to have the GP's if they would eat creeping buttercups and hairy bittercress.  Where have they all come from in just over a week?image.

Have a good day whatever you're doingimage

    Morning all!  image

Gaura Whirling Butterflies, Verdun.  image  Not a hope of growing it here - perhaps it's time I moved south...  image

But it's a lovely morning here too.  Gardening, packing, buying bird food, ironing & cleaning are all on today's list.  Now I wonder what I'll do first??  image

Morning - blue skies here too.  FiL coming to watch cup final, but that shouldn't stop me getting out in the garden.

i've got gaura to plant too Verdun, but mine are the white ones (bridal something).  I usually find about half get through the winter, but I treat them like penstemon and overwinter cuttings to fill the gaps.  They are a lovely plant.

quite fancy the crambe cordifolia that Monty showed on GW last night for the back of our borders - does anyone grow it ???

other tasks for the weekend are to weed out all the forget-me-nots and plant up my summer potsimage
