Hi Kleipieper. Hubby is busy at the moment, but I'll hit it with the questions when he gets back.  thanks for the suggestions. I'm hopeless at that stuff and even if he showed me, I'd probably forget it.  (I've got to the stage of putting the sugar in the fridge and the butter in the cupboard)image

well probably not that bad, but sometimes I wonder.

  • Hi Dove, Pat and everyone else,

BBC radio programmes are usually available on demand outside the UK.

Here is the link to last night's Prom.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b069wyn4

Just click on it to listen.

    Enjoy!

  • Morning everyone, woken by Harrie the cat letting me know I usually am up at this time, hasn't grasped the concept of weekends yet! image

Had to chuckle DD, how is it that everyone else manages to sleep through these events!?! Poor you!! Must be pooped! Hope you get the chance for a snooze later!

Got the bride laced into her dress fine yesterday, poor thing very nervous but looked stunning, not sure how to transfer pic from phone but when I manage I'll show you thee dress! Very emotional day as cousins mother passed away five years ago after long debilitating illness. The sun won through so thanks for blowing the clouds away guys and gals! Snuck away early as hubby not really better yet, with over 300 guests don't think they will have noticed! image

Basement tidying committee has been called in to action today and bribed with roast lamb! image Only AFTER the basement clearing though!

Hope everyone is having a lazy morning or at least doing something they want to do instead of HAVE to do jobs! image

Hi Wonky. Sounds as though you won't be having an easy day. Always good to get stuff done though.

Thanks Kleipieper for the suggestion .  hubby is now preparing a vegetable risotto so lots of chopping noises coming from the kitchen. image

    Good morning allimage

DD what a night you had.  Couldn't help laughing but I'm sure you don't feel very amusedimage.

Glad it didn't snow jo. It's far too early for thatimage.  Just about time for the winter duvet though.

Wonky glad the wedding went well and look forward to seeing the dress when you can work out how to show itimage.  Good luck with the basement clearance.  Quite right to make them wait for the food.

Pat there were no Australian questions in the crossword today.  I'm sure I'll need your help again another dayimage.

Any time Lesley. Not that I'm confident of knowing the answer. If it's horticultural, I might be able to guess it! ( like last time).image

Morning all.  I'm enjoying my last day off for two or three weeks by lounging around waiting for his lordship to produce this bacon he's been talking about all morning.

I'm hoping it will stay dry and sunny all day so I can get the washing done and finish painting some garden furniture.

    Have fun every one!

  • good morning all,
