Winter - don't think I'd be able to pass one of today's driving testsimage.  Its the "hazard perception" quiz that gets me every time.  Whats wrong with being aware of lampposts and pillar boxes as potential threats to your well beingimageimage

image Just had to google Millenium Falcon ....sci fi not my strong point .....used to hide behind the sofa for Dr Who and Star Trek, and never really got over itimage

Wintersong - glad you're feeling better image

Don't get me wrong - we love the starlings - they're beautiful and the range of noises they make is amazing - we even get special food for them too - suet pellets and blocks with mealworms in them - it's just the juveniles can't read image

Piddling it down here. I've just put the towels in the dryer. I must go and turn the soaker hose off. It's been running all night. Well the sweet peas should be wet by now.image

    Morning all.

Definite case of man flu here, but dragged myself out of bed, moaning loudly, and did the SM.

Raining heavily here, so I will take the papers and go back to bed.

    Have a good day everyone.

Hmm, it might be a good day to watch the entire Poldark series back to back.

    Morning all.

Going shopping for Charity Strawberry Tea tomorrow. Sorry DD can't make it after all. Everything seems such a rush at the moment as we are off on Tuesday. I'll just have Sunday and Monday to clear up after the Tea, do Housesitter's room, HW, water everything in garden as heatwave coming, wash, iron and pack etc.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I'm not bragging, but we have blue sky and sunshine here - I'm going to get the mower out image

    Morning all!  image

Still raining here, but lightly.  About to go out to learn how to make proddy rugs (a good Northern tradition - but one which would be appropriate to Southern Wombles too, I reckon!).  A good use for Dad's favourite gardening jacket, and a coat I made myself 30 years ago...  image

This afternoon is mane-cutting.  Hope the hairdresser has scheduled a long appointment - I can't see out at the moment!
