Downpour now stopped - had a good half inch of much-needed rain this morning. Off now to help aged mum move into semi-managed accomodation from her council flat. She already has three friends at the new place after suffering a string of 'bad' neighbours at her council flat, so will be a lot happer and less stressed I hope!
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
Home at last. The weather seems to consist of fast moving showers, unless it was me passing through them fast. OH has looked after the plants well with only a quarter looking poorly. He's done well with the dog and son though.
I like the sound of that brandy Wonky. My Dad sent OH a bottle of Courvoisier to thank him for letting me go there whenever needed. As if he would complain.
Bob I hope the move goes well and that your Mum is happy in her new home. It will save you a lot of worry.
Lizzie - good luck tomorrow and have a fantastic time in NY. I'm in awe. Sorry - that was me trying to sing.
Hope tomorrow goes well Lizzie and for your OH appearing in N.Y.
