KEF - the picture in my mind re Guinea pigs, washing lines and Wendy houses has given me a laugh. OK, OK, not funny if you're the one going in on hands and knees and dealing with the darlings. You're a hero. Will you get a present of chocolate poo saying 'thank you for looking after my ....'
Try shouting at them Chicky, worked for me, the day after I shouted "why am I watering tubs of BL***dy soil!!??" I got shoots springing up! Just scare them into growing!
Hailstones and 8 degrees on the way home form work today. Sown some seeds indoors - at this rate it'll be August by the time it's warm enough to get them outside...
Verd - I couldn't agree more. I haven't moved or divided the Tiarella I bought last year - I've not got round to it. It's been flowering for over a month and last year hardly stopped flowering from April till early September. It would easily make several plants now. Think it was about 4 or 5 quid - great value.
I quite like a guinea pig KEF....couldn't eat a whole one though
Hellish trip Yvie The car journey not Cornwall....
Hope the garden's not too hard to recover Lesley
Dinner's been had and I'm off for a look round the forum before I get an early night - up early tomorrow to go walking. Hope the weather's kind to you all tomorrow
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Looking forward to Gardening Scotland Sat & Sun going both days this year our answer to Chelsea . Forecast good for Sat but poor for Sunday that's the day for bargains stall holders don't want to take plants home.
Well we got the funding bid submitted one minute before the deadline and today involved attending a drug driving presentation (emotionally hard hitting for someone who was the victim of a drink driver). My brain is now absolutely shattered! Glass of cider with my sandwiches (too lazy to cook as I'm home alone) to go with my rock and roll lifestyle and then its to bed for an early night! Working around 25 hours this weekend so I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and if anyone could nip and attend to my weeds I'd be very grateful.
