    Evening all.

Another day of thumb twiddling, really want to be out doing stuff.

My greenhouse is too far from the house to have electricity, but I still find it fantastically useful for over wintering, taking cuttings, growing on seedlings etc. I certainly won't be trying Parasene now.

HHP / HHAs will be started soon in propagators on window sills. OH gets fed up, as from mid February till late May, every spare space has stuff growing.

PS. What is this other blog mentioned? Would I enjoy it?

Can you tell I am bored?

Yeah its great for me too punkdoc, I love being able to over winter cuttings etc. Saves me lots of money.

But as for the heating! Well..

Guess frost fleece is safer image

  • P'doc, think you need a dog, then instead of being bored, you can be half frozen to death up a windswept field image

Mattbeer, you had a lucky escape! Glad it wasnt any worse image, was given one of those very old parrafin heaters when i had my lotties, fab, but stinky!

I'm half frozen to death twice a day up a windswept field, feeding horses! Never got above freezing today and a strong north wind.

Bekkie, you have just presented a really good reason not to have a dog image image

  • I often say, there is no one else i love enough to go wandering round a field in rain, snow or anything else you could imagine! Even worse when they are old as we go at a snails pace image
