I will miss the dogs who went into kennels with a tad too much enthusiasm!

Houbigant used to make a wonderful perfume in the 70's simply named Ambergris oil you can't buy it now and other perfumes that are just the oil cost a fortune, if you can get them. They also did musk & civet which I think was an anal secretion from civet cats All were lovely but the Ambergris was special....I can still smell it in my head, if you know what I mean
Just back from a lovely lunch with Chicky - I'm afraid that the weather wasn't very welcoming - torrential rain and thunderstorms - but I've taken her back to rejoin Chicklet at the UEA and now the sun is shining and the sky is blue.
We popped into the Farm Shop and said hello to OH, then had a lovely lunch at the GC. I'm a very luck Dove - Chicky gave me a Galanthus Mighty Atom!!! It's the one that comes from Benhall in Suffolk very close to where I grew up - it's lovely and quite rare!!! She also gave me a birthday cake!
A very special sideways birthday cake!
She had a quick guided tour of my rather bedraggled garden and then I had to take her back to the uni to meet up with Chicklet.
Now I'm on the sofa with another stack of cards that the postman has just delivered
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Have you been taking lessons from RB Dove. Glad you had a nice time with chicky.
That's lovely that your Mum is having the dog Bekkie. It would have been such a shame for it to go to a rescue place for goodness knows how long.
I'm just waiting for a phone call to say that the groomers have finished with Jekka - she's being clipped - so we can go and pick her up. Poor thing is going to be a bit cold in this weather but she will be able to see again.
Wintersong is Flynn still trying to run round with his legs crossed?
