I did get up Yvie! Although my bed was rather toasy!

Have just been out and sat in my garden. Not as cold as I thought it would be image Was really enjoyable to just sit there and watch the blackbirds fighting and the collared dove preening. The quiet afternoon may be think I could have been anywhere! Lovely.

I have some hellebore flowers too Matty image And I think I can see some of the snowdrops from Fidget and Nut just starting to poke their noses up, which is odd as I have some Daffs that are nearly flowering! image

Hi all! Completely exhausted from my double bakery day but nice to read all the chatter I missed.

One thing that struck me was Clari's idea for a plant. How about the money plant Clari? You are looking for more funding I hear, so you never knowimage

I have the jade plant and all its babies working well for me but I think there is a couple of options

Catch up time for all those gardening programs I've missed over the weekend...well two plus the winter watches, but OH tells me that by the end of allotment challenge, it will nearly be spring!image

Wintersong has reminded me that I was surprised when I watched the Allotment Challenge that no one grew their tomatoes from seed image They all used plugs/ones from the GC. That's a bit cheaty don't you think? image Also made me imagine KEF standing their with her tomatoes, "and what variety are these?" asks the judge. "Dave" she replies image

Don't worry Runnybeak they turn the right way round when you click on them.

I have decided that after a couple of busy days in the garden I am going to do nothing for the rest of the day except relax.

Timely appearance by me I must have heard my name, Panda did you imagine me all glam, or my usually scruffy self LOL.  Nothing wrong with a tom called Dave image I love growing toms from seed such a big plant from a small seed, I'm amazed every year.

I've actually been in the garden, pulled a few weeds up and smiled a lot at the plants, I have missed them when they were buried in snow.

Wintersong a rest is in order me thinks.

Panda you got Daffsimage and you could sit in your garden, too chilly tho nice day to sit in my GH ! Maybe I could sit under your dryer image

I have three white tips on my snowdrops, but I have two flower buds ready to open on anemone De Caen dodgy spelling image

Time to cook and maybe watch Wolf Hall that I recorded.

Hope all enjoy their evening and soz to who I haven't mentioned, so many of us chatterers these days, which is lovely imageimage

Panda you made me laugh with that vision of KEF and her Davesimage

Lovely pic of the Ducks Rbimage.  Don't know why your pics do that though - I think it's just a knack you've gotimage

Yvie you certainly deserve a rest after all your hard work and so do you Wintersongimage

KEF, I pictured you just right, bit of dirt under nails, hair wavy, looking a bit shabby chic, rather than scruffy image image

Runny, those ducks are so clever being upside down and all image

  • RB, are these upside down ducks near you?   Why can't I turn them the right way round?   We used to have lots of call ducks which gave us great joy, but the fox also liked them, so reluctantly we had to give them away.   Rather give them to a good home than go through the trauma of losing them one by one.

Lovely duck pic, but I have to turn the laptop upside down. Just gets bigger when I click on it. Yviestevie, what are you using?

SG Lily, I only use the tumble dryer for sheets and towels and find that really useful. Don't want to risk clothes shrinking.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
