Rain stopped me in my tracks too Winter. image  sorry to hear about ya cricket team! Harrie the cat didn't want to be in the garden all of a sudden, even tho 2 baby blackbirds were hopping round getting fed!

Decided to bring her in and put the kettle on! She went straight to bed but I'm going back out there! Had to pot on my lupin seedlings early as they had become mossy due to over watering I think, what do I know but I'm learning! image fingers crossed!

Liri -  I applaud your dedication - digging up dandelions  -weedkiller would have been my weapon of choice! image

W'song - you've opened a right can of worms on that Chelsea design-y programme thingy! image image

I've done something similar to you with a clematis that wasn't going anywhere. I've planted something on top of it so it'll be interesting to see if anything sprouts in future! How's your lovely arch? What did you plant on it - I think I may have missed it when I was awol for a bit  image

Hello folks!  Glad you're awake at last Wonky image

I'm back from visiting Ma - muddled but happy - her, not me.... or maybe ....... image

I had my lunch and chill-out time down by the harbour mouth watching the seabirds then came home and now I'm shattered.  I'll have half an hour's noodle with you lot before sorting out some chump chops, new potatoes cabbage and minty gravy image

Been cold here, vents not even opened on GHimage

Potted on the last of my peppers & chillies quick run from conservatory to GH and back, didn't want them to catch a cold  image

Cumbers which were potted on yesterday have got over their sulk but still having to stay in conservatory.

Outdoor toms (Dave) in buckets have been fleeced.

Runner beans, climbing French and barlotti are hardenend off and want planting, someone has nibbled them whilst they were sitting on the patio image can't find the culprit so they are sitting on the bench for tonight.

Oldest Fidget is having another night in the garage after living outside for a couple of weeks, youngest one still in GH. (Brugmansia) not cruelty to our Fidget  image

Bet your car smelled lovely Verdun imageimage

Still have the heating on in the mornings KEF - and sometimes for a while at night too image We still have a cold wind even if it's sunny. I'd rather have that than lashing rain though - think that's coming here tomorrow image

I've sown nothing - yet. I dare say they'll catch up though- in November...image

Must go out and do something before I have to think about dinner image
