Hurrah!  Sunshine here at last - washing on the line, bird feeders filled image

Liri, sounds a lovely day out, have been to Fountains and Harlow Carr.

Having coffee break so will do an Open Garden thread.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Warm and sunny here now. Been in the garden pottering, rescued 2 Echinacea growing reasonable well considering, but they need better positioning. Finally got my choisya  in the ground but feeling tired now so not much else will get done today

Looks like everyones in the garden. I've been weeding, making gaps for a few plants. Some shouting from the front, and the postman had a replacement Trillium grandiflorum plena from Twelve Nunns..... and they said forget the postage. Nice healthy plant, exceptionally  well packed.image

fidget - I've always fancied trilliums and our climate suits them here. Do you find them easy?

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Trilliums have an exotic look and one of these days, if the garden is finished, .I'd like to find a home for some.  Trees may be coming down in the future and that will change where woodland plants can grow.  On Beechgrove last night a grower had them in full sun and they were doing well.

Hope you still like where your plants are tomorrow Winterimage.

Did you get your slabs finished Fairy?  Nice when you can get round to the planting bit.image.  I've spent the afternoon on my knees praying that the creeping buttercups would give up the ghost.  A trowel helped a bit.
