I hope everyone gets at least a few fine hours of sun or dry or thawimage, maybe some happy memory with those you love most and at least one new flower peeking up in their garden wishing it was spring.image

Then after all our hard work we were invited to partake in cider & galette des rois (a French tradition it seems). I was very lucky & had the figurine in my slice so all my wishes will now come true apparently. Will be getting a cooker just like yours now BL, looks super. image

What sort of books do you like DD? I may have some you could borrow.

I could recommend The Unseen by Katherin Webb.

The Winter Ghosts by Kate Mosse.

The Mapp and Luccia series. E.F.Benson.

Depends what you like, I have a go at anything, except spy stories.

    Good morning all image

Wet outside and 2.4C at the moment - the temperature didn't go below freezing last night.  That's the first time for a while.

It's raining at the moment but the forecast is for a sunny day - hopefully the sunshine will bring some birds out for the Garden Birdwatch - but I don't suppose my Grey Wagtail will appear again ...

Morning all. Another full weekend working and with parties in both days its guaranteed to be busy! I'm going to be calling the dog rescue place tonight to see if we've any more information: they've told us we've been approved but its gone quiet when it actually comes to getting information on certain doggies! (We picked four we especially liked- two went to new homes yesterday).

Wont be doing the garden birdwatch this year which means my garden will be FULL of the wee things! Every year I have gone it the garden goes scarily quiet like they know something is happening image
