Looks like there have been some brave souls out in their gardens today. Absolutely horrible this morning and brightened up just when I started doing the h*******k. Typical!!

Winter song - those books do sound good. Love a good gardening book. Saw the great British garden revival this evening. Still not convinced about Dianthusimage.

Well the wind was due to arrive late afternoon, it didn't arrive so I was quite pleased that we had got away wth it, silly me........it was waiting until bedtime and is now blowing a gale and once again I feel like Dorothy!!!

When I came back from shopping Me Fox was ripping all the rubbish out again, I had to stop in the road to clear it off the drive, and he just stood at the gate whilst I cleared it! I told him not to take liberties or his next next meal could be small, sharp and metal.  Just joking, we would never do that.

I am going to ring the council offices tomorrow to see if they would accept a wheelie bin if I bought one. Has anyone got these, and are they fox proof?

I have been so busy today, non stop,  finally got my breakfast yoghurt at 4pm. Its all go at the ranch.

Also wanted to say that I will answer my emails and pm's soon. Sorry to everyone that I havent replied to, you are all so kind.

Hope you are getting a well-earned rest now Lyn.  Wheelie bins are generally fox proof unless they blow over.  Your fox is a bloomin' nuisance so It would be a great help if the council let you have one.image

I'm still awake because as LilyP said it is really scary out there tonight.  I keep hearing crashes and I can only think of  the roof tilesimage.  We don't have a greenhouse but both neighbours do.  Fingers crossed for your greenhouse and trees LilyP.

No wind damage in my garden this morning, I do hope you can say the same (everyone) and those foxes need to behave themselves Lynimage.

Good morning Wintersong image and any/everybody else who's around image

I hope there's been no more wind damage - it's pretty blustery here in Norfolk, but not as bad as it has been where some of you are.
