Verdun - sounds like an extreme home makeover - bet some co-ordinated cushions were involved somewhere. Glad you got your Soft Caress - have not forgotten that I promised you a photo - should be able to deliver tomorrow.
(have just re-read that last sentence and it sounds decidedly dodgy ... But Verd will know exactly wot I mean)
one more day til freedom and daylight at home - wonder if anything has grown
Hope your heating gets sorted tomorrow Lizzie - I'd sleep in the living room if I were you !
Hope you don't mind folks, what I wanted to say hardly merited starting a new thread.
I just wanted to ask pansyface if she knew the reason for all those padlocks being attached to the town's river bridge in Bakewell....it always intrigues me when I visit.
Just got back from a day out in Brighton, watched Holiday on ice mid afternoon then a Tapas meal at our favourite Spanish restaurant. Part of my xmas pressies. Great show really enjoyed it.

Good evening all!
What's shaking tonight?
Hello all
Been and had a look up the station sorted the bins out and noticed some daffodils starting to poke though the soil
Googled pic:
Ah, thanks fidget....I hadn't heard about that custom.
I think it must have taken off quite recently in Bakewell, as it's only been the last couple of times when I have visited that I've noticed them.
Ta very much.
It was all the rage in Cologne when we visited about 5 years ago - didn't realise we had imported the custom. Mind the bridge doesn't collapse ....
Hi everyone.
Think there's one in Paris too David.

I guess it just sighs RB
