    Morning all.

That sounds lovely Susan. I hope too that it doesn't rain for you all. OH is singing in a Carol Service in Riberac tonight with the choir. Then again at the Service I am helping to organise on Sunday in Chancelade Abbey.

Off to hypermarket to buy groceries.

DD, if you want a dog, get a puppy. Then you can train it not to dig up plants or poo on the best bit of lawn. My Border Collie is very good about the garden. He doesn't even walk on the best bit of lawn without permission. I applied for a rescue dog before I got him and was refused as my garden isn't securely fenced all around. I've had dogs since I was in my 20s, the males, if not castrated can be a problem when they smell a bitch in season.

"Whoa up Yvie" SPORTS Massage??? what on this earth is one of those saying which it sounds rather risqué, does Carol on the hill chaperone you?

My cleaning Lady gives me exercise as she chases me from room to room with her feather duster, it has a very long handle and she does not like clutter so she comes in one door I exit the other quickly or get well and truly dusted down.

Fair though cold today, on Parade at Daughters for the obligatory sandwich and check over, see if the t'auld lad is still breathing, get my instructions for the next week that is if she has two minutes to spare in her diary. What happened to the days I gave the orders??

    Frank.

A dog is not just for Christmas, if you carve carefully you can have some well into the NewYear

I love dogs, always had them, but havent got one at the moment.Have a good day folks,

I am off to Morrisons, tesco wont deliver an

ymore, they say I am off their radar and it takes too long for the driver to get here. They gave me a 10.00 internet voucher as compensation, wait for it...,,,,to be used on my next online shop. I will enjoy spending that.

For the past 2 days I have had no water, just a little drip no pressure, I have no mobile phone signal and now the landlines not working, Oh! The joys of living in the countryside.

  • Morning, busy baking more mince pies, house smells delicious! OH bac this evening, hope there will be some left for him - either that or destroy all the evidence. image

Thanks for tips on dog BL, looking at an 8 month old at the moment but like you said the rescue people are very fussy, have sent in pics of garden for them, they are considering me.image  They do have to be careful I suppose, and all the dogs are vaccinated and spade etc,so one less hassle.

    Must dash, can smell burning....
