Customer service have emailed back finally. New plants will be dispatched Monday. They didn't say what to do with the delphiniums. Does anyone like pink delphs?. I only like Blue.

Well, generally last year was a year to forget. MIL died. Dad died.Sisters father in law died. Cr*ppy hospitals. etc. I did promise that this year would be better.   So Sisters mother in law died this week.

Family are desperate for a party. So seeing as we've been living together for 17 years, we thought we might as well get married.

So two parties.  One in the garden in the summer for an engagement party.(I had the sparkly ring sized last November then everything went pear shaped.)

One at somewhere posh for a wedding party in Autumn.

Honeymoon somewhere diving in October, then a party for my Birthday, then His Birthday, then Christmas.   That should just about cover it.

I'd better get the garden looking nice then.....

Lovely news Fidget - congratulations!  Wow.  You must be really loved if your OH bought next door so you could have a bigger garden...  image

Now to the mundane.  OH and I took 25 sacks of garden rubbish to the tip this afternoon so I can get in the shed again!  No excuse not to cut the lawn now, since the mower has emerged from under the rubbish.  image

Am hoping for most of tomorrow in the garden - most other jobs done.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Well we ran through the permutations.

Do it online ....easiest but not possible

Bikini on a beach in St Lucia (tacky) upset Mum

Elvis impersonator in Las vegas (very tacky) upset everyone

Underwater in a wet suit in Maldives (not sure thats legal) Cuts out all those that can't dive

Register office and two witnesses grabbed off the street (bit tacky)

Elope to gretna green  (too many midges in Scotland, but I could have fairygirl as a bridesmaid)

ended up with hotel up the road with a Baronial Hall(victorian gothic) able to take 50 to 100 guests.

No I'm not getting married in white. No I'm not pregnant.
