Many congratulations fidgetimage.  One thing about the Scottish midges is that they are very fair.  I've got 4 bites on each leg.

May I my congratulations to you fidget, and Mr Bones.

A friend suggested we used the local Registry Office in town. I  had visions of some nuclear bunker with furniture evicted from a 70s Job Centre. In fact it was / is a converted Victorian School with lovely Red Velvet curtains and was spotlessly clean. I didn't even know it was there before.

Have a fabulous time , whatever you decide. Remember, IT'S YOUR WEDDING , please yourselves, if others don't agree, TOUGH.

  • Congratulations Fidget, lovely news. image image

Previous owners returned today and poor lady was reduced to tears, I hope in a good way, they did say I was a miracle worker and it was nice to put names to some of my unknown beauties. image I do hope that in 20 years time that is not me but I can absolutely see that this is not a garden for an older person. Going to enjoy every last ounce of it whilst I can.image

That said, I feel 20 years older tonight, my rubble was delivered, far more than expected or really needed and it has had to be hand shovelled into position (dumper truck could only get so far), think my back is now permanently set in bent position - have soil coming Monday too - eek. Here are 'before' pics, really hope after pics will make all the effort worthwhile. image

My vision of what it might be (except I haven't got a rock that big yet image). Watch this space. image

Now I need to lie down very flat for several hours. Goodnight all. image

That's some effort and well done for making the old lady cry, I mean that in a good way image

Realising your dreams is a tremendous effort but also bring huge satisfaction and improves the quality of our lives image
