  • Morning all,

Raining again here, I don't mind to much but the poor guests (8 of them) area bit fed up with it, they really are sun lovers and were loving sitting by the pool all day. They have 3 more days and the forecast is not looking good at all, hope they don't blame me and put it on the review. image

I am cooking for them all tonight, (Italien night, they had a French meal the other night) Bruschetta, Lasagne, Garlic Bread and Tiramisu, will have to make sure they have plenty of red wine too, cheer them up. image

    Morning all.

Don't you love our varied weather? Wednesday, hot sun, today, rain of biblical proportions, am expecting an imminent plague of frogs.

Have done the SM, so rest of the day ordering bulbs, and then hopefully booking a winter holiday. I need the sun to help stave off the old black dog.

    Good morning

Scan achieved, thank you for asking .  Very very noisy experience, did my yoga breathing and tried not to imagine (Wonkys idea) you all in there with me with your spades forks buckets etc! said they got some good images, not sure whether to be pleased about that or not!

Been shockingly wet overnight and my companula flattened despite supports

congrats to all students, proud mums I am sure and justly so.

we are blessed with wonderful delivery men who always have biscuits for the dogs. Only problem is at Christmas when they bring in extras who rely on sat nav

sadly came home to some difficult news  My family decided not to tell me till scan over. hope to get more specifics today.

looks like it is brightening upimage

Glad you survived the scan LP. I'm so claustrophobic that I can't even bear to think about it. Didn't say so before in case it made you more spooked.image

Morning all. Another wet night. DD forecast is better from tomorrow where I am.

My roses are starting another flush. They must like this rain. Has anyone seen Verdun's anti rose thread? Shame on you, Verdun. Got me all worked up image

I'm surprised that, living in the sticks, Topbird, you haven't had mice in the bedroom, we get bats too sometimes when the windows are open. Cute.

Has been wet, is very dark now, and some more wet to come.  But welcome - this lot should get down in the soil a few inchesimage

another day off for me - was going to go garden visiting, but don't fancy getting soggy. So i will potter round the house and GH instead.  Have to retrieve Chicklet at some stage ......some serious celebrating went on last nightimage

glad fairylet did well too.  We have to repeat the whole process next week with littlest chicklet and GCSEs.

have been planning bulbs in my head here too - but normally wait til Sept to actually order, when lots of places seem to have big discounts.

have a great day all - the recliner will need to be tested inside Dove - you can't wait for the next sunny dayimage

hugs, and more hugs, for LilyP
