Just back from the hospital. Today was a good day - they got 2 of the three blockages completely cleared. It took longer, and was more complicated than anticipated, but the cardiologist was pleased with the outcome (which he hopes will last a "lifetime"). Slight downside is that we have to wait 6 weeks before part 2 (the remaining blockage), to give Mr Chicky time to recover from the extra dye and x-rays they had to use to finish the job today. But we feel like we have taken a big step forwards.
Huge thanks once again for the support on here - I could feel all those positive vibes, I really could. I will sleep well tonight - not least because I have left Mr Chicky under observation in the hospital, and will have at least one night without being on 999 alert.
Really glad Hosta has also taken a positive step forwards, and that winter sun beckons in the meantime.
