We're off in a few minutes to see Pa on his way ... glad the weather's fine although the weatherman did point out that it would be a few degrees cooler on the North Sea coast - we have our thermals on!!!

DD, its just a thought and hope this sounds how I mean it and not rude.....but if they expect their old home to look the same, they shouldn't go back. Sorry mean it in a nice way.

    Or perhaps they're being nosy......lolimageimageimage

Today, while digging out nasty couch grass roots from heavy clay, OH came to me with a box. Rare, unusual and exciting plants it said. Its supposed to be the replacements for the Phlox and Penstemon that didn't grow last year.  Indeed that is what the delivery note says. Shame that there is a dozen delphinium seedlings in the box.  I've got 24 delphinium plants already that I overwintered from last year.

No ones answering the phone at customer service either.  I left a message.

    I'm not excited, just exasperated.

Been in the garden all day, had to finish to get ready for hair appointment at 4pm, I mean its not polite to turn up in manky trousers, old trainers and dirty gardening gloves now is it image

Set out this morning with the intention of planting up one area I had decided on, and did everything but...it's always the same. I haven't changed my mind about intended planting either, it will just have to wait until after my haircut or probably Monday now since I find it difficult to pick up again after I've changed tact.

Bakery duties this weekend, if any of my customers so much as hints at politics, they'll be NO donuts image
