Who mentioned snow?! I'm all ready for snow - the tow ropes, blankets, ice scrapers, emergency coats, snacks, spare gloves and hats... The Truck is all prepared to ensure there'll be nothing more than a slight frost and I'll look silly. His Lordship has just put his winter tyres on which pretty much guarantees hot weather.
Pansy I've shown OH the link to Ashbourne - thanks for sharing!
Have a lovely meet up Dove, the day will go so quick you'll have so much to catch up on. Have fun.
Hope we don't get snow
Can't remember what thread it was on......but a few weeks ago we were talking about Brut aftershave. Saw some yesterday and had a sniff.......didn't smell anything like it used to lol.
Fininishing off xmas card writing this morning and will then go and post.
See you later peeps have a good day everyone. Take care.
Lovely and bright but no frost today. Got shopping to do, which will be a pleasure in this weather.
You're all making me feel very guilty for being so far behind with Christmas preparations... Will buy cards this morning and make a start on the annual letter (yes, I know some people hate them, but I'd rather receive/send annual news than none at all!). Yesterday I ordered lots of prezzies on tinternet so I feel a bit better - the 8-month baby is hard to buy for, since she's got all her big sister's cast-off clothes and toys already, but no doubt I'll find something eventually. OH says he doesn't need anything - but yesterday he dropped his mobile getting in the car, and then ran over it, so I think I know what he'll be getting from Santa!
Better get out before the sun goes in!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Lost Internet this morning, but it's back now (obviously!)
Liri, I send a Christmas letter too, people say they like it but perhaps they are being polite. I like receiving them. I started mine this morning when Internet was off.
Have just put the horses into their winter paddock, great excitement and lots of galloping. Now they are all tucking into grass, though it won't last long as there is hardly any topsoil. It's limestone which is why it's good for winter - less mud. My white horse is brown (rolling in mud) and her mane is knotted (rubbed on tree) but now she's too excited to catch, so it'll have to wait. Farrier coming on Monday for foot trimming.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hi all it's been bright and dry today but nippy, been outside and done a few things so quite happy.
Edd wow the stuff you learn on here
Thanks
Was born in Sheffield but my little chant was learned when living in Barnsley.
