When I was at art school in Norwich my morning walk to the college took me past St Giles on the Hill church - and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sD_eEBTlZ6A  The perfume was wonderful image

They can grow quite big up here in Norfolk too - I drive past one that is growing up through the branches of a tree and out of the top - the yucca is taller than the height of the bedroom windows of the house!

  • Morning all,

I love my wisteria, OH not so much, it's around our entrance and sometimes gets a bit wild, he does hack at it but it doesn't seem to mind.

Enjoy your pergola Winter, make sure we get to see a picture. image

Like you Kef, weeding and potting on for me today with lunch at the college inbetween. image

Nice Day to you all. image

Winter my avator is a Yucca in flower.

I had it in a 3' border between the lawn and the path, we didn't have any pets or little people who could get injured, eventually after about ten years I had to cut the tips off new growth to prevent us being attacked by it, not a great look image It produced new plants each year that I carefully removed. It developed something that looked like rust so it went to plant heaven last yearimage

    Morning all.

    Grey but warm here.

Long list of garden jobs to do today, highly unlikely I will stick to it though. Much more likely that I will do more "artistic" arranging of plants.

Never grown wisteria, but surely worth it for those few weeks of beauty.

    Morning all.

Very misty here today. Forecast is for it to clear quickly then a scorching (for mid April) 18C .

OH has promised me his help to-day, but he's seeing an acupuncturist this morning re tennis elbow. Maybe that'll put him out of action? Has anyone else tried this?

I'll carry on splitting Hostas to-day.

    Devon.

Morning all. I love Wisteria too. Dove, that is stunning, church looks pretty good too.

Weeding today, supermarket this afternoon, mostly dog food as we are hoping to go to England on Thursday. But there will probably be an air controllers' strike, so we may have to drive and take a ferry. Must ring house sitter. Ryanair was still taking bookings though last night.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
