archie - are you going to be the man who broke the bank?....
Have a lovely time with Mrs archie
Hope you feel a bit better tomorrow BL, Ggirl and LilyP. Shingles is a horrible thing so fingers crossed it's not that LP. Everyone around me is full of horrible colds and whatnot so I hope I don't succumb
Chilli and baked tattie for me as it's leftover night - girls away
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fg - don't know about you but when I'm left on my own I do love to use up leftovers, wouldn't dream of dishing them up to OH but I take great satisfaction is using them and always feels like a sneaky treat - that and the glass or vin rouge of course!
Monte Carlo - love it, should get some sunshine too. Have a good time ArchieP.
Off to keep fit now, then on return can have my little glass (or 2) of vino with a clear conscience.
Poorly peeps get yourselves dosed up, hope all feeling better tomorrow. Not nice feeling ill.

archie - you've set the bar pretty high going to Monte Carlo this year....
better start saving now
DD - when my girls are at their dad's it means I can just heat something up and it does feel like a treat. I suppose cooking becomes a bit of a chore after so many years especially when it's for (often unimpressed) children.

All you poorly peeple - drink lots of water, take paracetomol and lots of Vitamin C and Echinacea (not plugs - pills).
OH seems to think that I shouldn't be swallowing my 50+ women's vitamins with my Sauv. Blanc ........ I've read the instructions - it says take after food with a glass of water or a cold drink - what else do 50+ year old women drink with their meals
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
A doctor told me that its no use taking vitamin c without zinc, the body wont absorb it, so I take a multi vitamin that contains zinc, never had a cold nor OH either and he used to get some stinkers.
Anyone else heard of that?

Yes - daughter had ME throughout teens and twenties - I eventually managed to fill her up with vitamins including zinc and selenium - sorted her immune system out
I eat loads of shellfish so my zinc intake is high
Fg - we're recording Placido thanks for the reminder ((hugs))
