A great day in the garden; a few spots of rain late on, but an ideal day to excavate the compost bin. We have a new robin, a feisty little fellow, recognisable by the white feather in his right wing. He was hustling me to produce more wireworms and chafer grubs for his delectation. I left him this evening hoovering up the remaining grubs from the vegetable patch; I reckon we'll make a good gardening team this season...
Lovely photos, DD! Not surprised you're full of optimism and anticipation. It'll be a riot of colour by the summer.
Look after yourself, Matty.
Night all!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Planted sweet peas up station - seeds that Lesley gave us sown in Autumn, dug a few holes for some hedging plants to go in sometime soon saw lots of butterflies about and bees
Cut the grass in garden even the newer turf from Autumn much better look out there now just the edging to do yet
Drab wet day today, though brightened up by seeing a Greenfinch perched on the feeders as I was having my morning coffee. Not seen one of them for years hopefully theres a breeding pair.

We had rain overnight and wind, but dry now, windy still and a lot chillier than of late.
Sounds like a day to work in the tunnels.
Here comes the shocker Lily . . . . I'm on next! Before Dove!

Miserable looking day here, but as I'm spending time indoors (theatre) I don't mind
Have a great day all!
