Hello all, haven't you all had busy week-ends; theatres, parties, comedy shows, bed at 3:30am Runny, make me feel quite dull.
Keys are my 'one weakness' never remember where I put them, am always in trouble over it - when OH away I tend not to bother lock anything and saves a whole load of hassle. In some ways I think if a burgler manages to find us where we are he deserves whatever he can find.
Been out running again today, 12.5 k Trail Race, coach was extremely supportive, ran with me every step of the way - had a sneaky suspicion he thought I might turn around and go back to the coffee shop if he left me. Was very happy with the time but definitely sitting down for the rest of the day.

Home now. Sorry I've not been in touch but my time wasn't my own. Had a good week and got all Mum and Dad's Christmas presents bought and wrapped. I have looked in now and again but by the time I'm halfway though a reply I'm summoned to do/see something or just answer a clue in the crossword.
Hope you haven't got the deep snow yet Bill. Amazing photos though.
I will catch up soon - I hope Oh - I won't catch up with DD
Hello folks - Christmas puddings all steamed (complete with silver threepenny bits) and all the windows in the house were steamed up but are beginning to clear a bit now
Good to see you Lesley I've sort of skim read back - everyone's been very busy and enjoying themselves - and Pdoc has been doing his best as always
Shoulder of lamb is slowly roasting along with a big dish of potatoes boulangere. We'll have them later with mint jelly and runner beans from the freezer - I need to make some space in there for Christmas goodies
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Oh Dove that sounds scrummy! I've just eaten rubbish as OH on lates all weekend
Still raining and fourth or fifth wash on!
Welcome home Lesley, missed you but glad your mum and dad enjoyed you
DD where do you get your energy! And great pic! You look half the size of your old aviator pic which has just changed!!!! Feels like its not you now Gorgeous lily though
RB I'm not fooled by your doddy excuses Glad hubby enjoyed himself though x
Star gaze still raining? It is here and had heating and lights on all day
Having a cuppa and a seat after my shift outside. Think I've earned my corn tonight - although it's actually a chicken casserole.
Have shifted about half the 2 tons of gravel but I forgot I still had a bit of prep to do on the path from back door down to back gate so did that first. Then ran out of membrane - stupid of me - so had to go and get some more. Wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to shift pots and benches from one place to another as I go, or cover every piece of open ground to stop the local cat population *****ing in it....
Pretty sore and achy now.
Doc - I couldn't keep up with a load of 18 yr olds either - even when I was 18
Puddings smell lovely Dove. I had a little selection of silver charms that I used to put in the pudding when I made it. Girls used to love all that. I don't make one any more as it's only me and the girls on Christmas day and I could easily eat the whole thing myself
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

If you're looking in OL, hope all going well, best wishes x
Think I must be ill. Went to GC, didn't buy any plants
Nearly bought a dark red dogwood but changed my mind at the last minute
