I think its a shame you can't get Videos anymore Hosta, I loved mine. Prefer it to dvds.

Lily, we just use it as "catch up" watch once then delete, Esp with OH working nights.

I tried recording onto DVDs but found if you wanted to FF ad breaks , it went for a few seconds, then started to leapfrog about 30 intervals, was quicker to watch the adverts, so went back to video.

    Morning all.

I liked videos too, so easy to use. We have a hard disc thing that records hours and hours of programmes but it's so complicated and if you put it on "pause" it only stays there a couple of minutes then stops so you have to start from the beginning and the fast forward isn't very fast. Have a DVD player in the bedroom but it only does 2 hours at a time.

Lovely day today. Going to veggie garden this morning.

My mulchpile was made by horsesimage And our harddrive is a sky+ box.  We live in a ravineimage So sky is the only way we can receive TV.  When we moved in the house had an aerial which was on a pole twice the size of the chimney ....but it didn't work well, so got replaced by a dish. More effective, less of an eyesoreimage

Morning everyone,  Looks like everyone had a good Easter.  Got back from Firstborn's this morning.  She cooked a fabulous Morrocan Lamb Curry yesterday which we ate in the evening.  Yesterday morning we went on an Easter Egg hunt at Worcester Country Park with the grandchildren.  Mabel loved the Easter Bunny (6ft tall man in furry suit) and Merri (the eldest) enjoyed working out all the clues.  Then had a hot beef sandwich for lunch.  Played cards in the evening and discovered Gogglebox.  Hysterical.  Never like reality TV but this is so addictive.  All in all a lovely day.

Weather in Worcester was fab when we left but still a bit cloudy here, hoping it brightens up and I can get some gardening done.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the Easter break whatever you are up to.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
