  • Nope, I get no ads of any kind with IE 11 Dove because I use this:

    https://adblockplus.org/

Together with Easy List Tracking Protection List (TPL) so the usual big web operators (Amazon et al) aren't bombarding me with emails trying to sell me stuff from pages I have visited either. image

  • Hi All,

Posts in - fingers/hands/toes all in one piece - phew!

Dove no advert here, used to have RSPB but nothing today - you must have been especially targeted - you are very very knowledgable and worldy wise for one seemingly so young. image

Archie enjoy Manchester, being from there keep getting lots of reports and pics of market & mulled wine, looks super. Christmas seems to start a bit later here, our Xmas markets are still a couple of weeks away yet. image

Hi everyone,  I haven't been around either Bekkie, in my case it's been the computer that's been the problem.  My battery cable was faulty. Haven't read all the way back as it would probably take me up to Christmas.

No christmas cakes or puddings being made in this house as I am the only one who likes them and unfortunately I can't handle all those calories.  I do know what I am getting off hubby this year. He's booked tickets for me and my daughter to see Bette Midler in Birmingham, I had spotted she was touring for the first time in  35 years so told him he needed to get on the phone first thing Friday and luckily he managed to get two. I'm so excited as she is one of my all time favourites.Firstborn hasn't got a clue so if any of you bump into her Mums the Word.

Haven't been gardening lately although I do have quite a few jobs still to do.  I have quite a few cuttings that I need to pot on and also need to clip the bubble wrap into place in the greenhouse.  Can't seem to get motivated at the moment.  Is anyone else feeling lethargic.

    Hi All

Bette Midler envy here, I saw her at the London Palladium when she toured before. Brilliant, riske, funny - still feel the joy when i think of the show, I think your daughter will be stunned!!!. I hadn't heard of her but an American I knew insisted we went - well done her.

Have been put on hormone therapy, but there are still more tests to be done (sorry, not sure if this is the correct thread), so know more but not the full picture. Feeling much more positive though

Quite a nice dat out there but not sure I am going to venture outside - just don't want to get muddy!!!!!!

  • Hi Matty - glad all the positive vibes are working image

Afternoon all. Finally managed to coax myself outdoors, having spent week inside feeling mardy.

Removed leaves from all the Hellebores and chopped back some perennials which were flopping over everything else.

Off to an 18th. birthday party tonight, doubt I will be able to take the pace.

Glad to hear you sounding more positive Matty.

    Hope mum is ok Verdun.
