Can't delegate Lesley ....they'd do it all wrongimage.  Have a combination of control freakery and a huge dollop of pedantry when it comes to the gardenimage

Hosta - sounds like paradiseimage.  Do the tunnels provide plants that eventually go in the garden (apart from the 100, about to become 200+, hostasimage)?

    Thanks all image

Hosta, how do you have one warm and one cool?  Is it to do with sealing off the ends?

warm one is all polythene, so enclosed and warms up quickly. Cool one has netting up to 1m high, so more ventilated .

Clematis through shrubs, pick something that is fairly mundane, like laurel. great host , not a great shrub . I'd not jeopardise a good shrub just to host a clematis.

Hostas might one day form the basis of a nursery. Who knows.

  • Second late night (early morning) in a row, totally unexpected as our youngest forgot to tell us we had an invite to our neighbours 70th birthday, live music, hone brew and a roaring pit fire......perfect evening and now just having a cup of tea before bed (is that a sign in getting old??) I have a feeling tomorrow may not go to plan image

Good morning and a happy Easterimage

Rather misty this morning but the promise of a nice day.  OL, that sounds like a very enjoyable party.  Expect it will be a while before we 'see' you.

Ooh Hosta, a hosta nursery could be a perfect plan.  Perhaps you could have a national collection.  There's nothing like aiming highimage

Hope your lunch is a great success Lizzie, image
