Morning, been wet but looking more promising now.

I have the lovely job of putting down compost today, three loads emptied yesterday as OH has to rebuild the bins

Anyone a foolproof way of keeping flies off? They were shocking yesterday

I couldn't post yesterday. I changed it to basic editor, but I've lost the tool bar, so I cant show you my lovely banana plant.

I have smilies and avatars, is that because I use a laptop?

Morning all. Sunny, forecast is for 30°.

Daughter and family are arriving today from North of France. They are moving to 1 hour 20 mins from here. Removal men have some trouble with the lorry and will arrive at new house on Wednesday. I must go and sort out bedrooms.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

No heatwave here it's 14C damp and cold, good news is I won't have to water anything for a good few days.

I have no problem with the site. Is that because I have an adblocker?

I haven't had any problems at all with the site for monthss. Use an iMac and Safari and an iPad and Safari. Have adblock plus installed on iMac (can't install it on iPad - or I couldn't when I last tried).

Have a good one everyone - sun has now put in an appearance - 25C this afternoon - lovely - swimming & ice cream for us image

I've been up for hours too Fairyimage

Just spent one of those hours watching clouds of butterflies on our buddlejas - hundreds of peacocks, admirals, frittilaries, browns and whites. My ocd nature got the better of me in the end, and had to come in for my I-spy book of butterflies to identify them all.

Plan for today is to do all the things I failed to do yesterday image

    Morning all.

So much for my posting a few days ago about sleep patterns calming down.

Been awake at 5am 4 days in a row, so it was a relief to sleep until 915 this morning.

Just been up to open the polytunnel, it was 39C in there, oops.

Have a good Sunday one and all.

    Devon.
