Had yet another embarrassing moment this morning; am committed to helping with a school sports trip, cross country race, got myself all kitted up, got Charlie all kitted up, spare clothes to change into afterwards, geared myself up to speaking French all morning with 30 kids - then when I got there turns out it's next week.

Can't call Dove a Dame because that would make her DD and we have a DD
I like a lot of the Mantaray range going into Debenhams can be dangerous.
I got my hair done roots have now disappeared and the rest just does what it wants
Hi Susan welcome onboard
I also have soil envy.
Bill, nice to hear from you, we have a few posters who will be able to fix you up with extra jumpers wonder if they can also knit you some thermal Long Johns
Stay warm ( sounds like an advert) and dry and TGIF for the workers
You have me curious about Manteray so tried to look it up, seems Debenhams website is down - not having a very successful morning so far!
Going to look at ponds now, fancy a water feature in my yet to be built rockery, sure OH will be pleased, something else not in his budget. Will say nothing for now until done all the research.
I can knit, but Bill might have find a good temporary measure, I am very slow and get bored with anything big, am looking at santa hats and xmas decs at the moment, can do them in a day before my enthusiasm wains. Sorry Bill.
Dove living dangerously?? Be careful now.

Do hear a lot about low flying tablets, glad I have my laptop even if it has to be plugged in most of the time, have quite got the hang now of stepping over trailing cables - shame OH & son haven't!

Hi, back from a wonderful production of "Love's labours found" ( much ado...) Watch out for "Michelle Terry" a real star in the making.
Cutting material for a display at Kew today!! Red dogwoods, flowering viburnam, pittosporums and anything else looking good. It's to help out a friend who is hosting a corporate event there. Still it's nice to think that my efforts are heading for gardening HQ. Can I add it to my CV?.
Dove, do you get winter visiting Blackbirds too, temporarily boosting your numbers. i hope I will be getting some as I think I may have frightened some of my residents with all the work in the garden this year. I have a great crop of crab apples for them waiting if you can pass the word on. We are not far as the Blackbird flies.
Used to live in Stratford Woody, really miss the theatre, we used to get free tickets as our business supported them, was great. Also, wasn't a big deal to get to London, have seem some great performances at the Globe.
Kew - get you, definitely needs to go on CV.
Can you tell I'm housebound today, raining horribly, housework & ironing all done, OH away, son at school, busy using laptop to build up daydreams of perfect garden. Good job OH didn't leave me the credit card, could have spent a fortune already.

Debenhams website down? Oh dear, do you think I bought too much?
And at last I can commiserate with you lot - the rain has arrived - it waited until I'd put a thick fleecy dressing gown in the wash
