Filthy night here - a lot of flooding on the roads when I was out. Tried to get some pea/bean netting at GC to cover my 'grass' area to stop ****** cats using it and they had nothing. Useless. Ordered some online. I have an arrangement of string and canes for the moment but it's not very satisfactory - or attractive.
Well done chicky and BL - that's a lot of tulips planted! I love them but they often get battered by weather here just when they come out, so I'm sticking with a few in pots and didn't buy any more for this year. I've got two tons of gravel to buy
I can smell that pud from here chicky
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Fairy I'm sulking one of the few plants that I dare ID with total confidence and you beat me to it Two tons of gravel I will most certainly excuse you pipping me to the post.
Well, quite a successful day here. A load of washing dry out on the line - now it's all ironed and put away. Some paperwork attended to and the kitchen tidied. Shopping done at the farm shop. Fruit cake made for refuelling OH as and when needed over the next few days, and a big beef casserole is simmering in the oven for supper in an hour's time. Potatoes peeled for mash and Savoy cabbage prepped.
I'm feeling very virtuous
Now my feet are up and I'm watching Miss Marple sort things out on a Caribbean island Fg, join me, it's making me feel all warm and relaxed.
Mojito anyone?
