Think I like Lizzie or Liz best. Really Elizabeth. When I started being Busy-Lizzie there wasn't that fungal disease! I hope they don't become a thing of the past.

How come when I went to bed exhausted I'm sitting here on the computer in the middle of the night?  Have been lying awake since 2.00a.m. so decided to get up instead of listening to Hubby and Mabel (grandaughter) snoring.

Might look at a bit of plant porn (dangerous) or watch a TV programme Oh I wonder if GW is on catchup yet.

Good morning all image  yesterday I got home from visiting Ma totally shattered - OH made me some supper and sent me to bed - I was asleep before  9pm and slept solidly (with some weird dreams about moving carparks) and woke just a little while ago.

Brother is visiting Ma today so I have the day off.  OH is off to work now and I'll pop up to the shop later to replenish food supplies.

First I'll have a look around and see what you lot were up to yesterday.

Good morning Dove and Yvie (if you're still awake)image.

You obviously needed a long sleep Dove.  It's not just the running around but emotional stress that leave you feeling so tired.  Have a good relaxing day today.  Unless, of course, you are making more rhubarb crumbleimage

It's blowing a gale with horizontal rain so have had a very short walk.  Will have to go to SM later and then pack my case for going south tomorrow.  Hope the weather is a bit better then.

    Morning all.

Bit of sun, lots of cloud and very breezy this morning.

Need to prioritise gardening jobs before returning to work on Thursday.

Dove, take all the sleep you can get.

    Have a lovely weekend .

    Devon.

Lesley thankfully I have been paid: just waiting for the cheque to clear. Hopefully by Monday as his lordship has the day off too so can be brought in for MANual handlingimage as we're going shopping for bits for the caravan so can surely divert to the garden centre.

Working all weekend: fortunately the ghost hunt cancelled so at least today isn't a 10:00 - 03:00.

    My view right now:

I'm sure we agreed he wasn't allowed upstairs.

  • Morning all,

Guests all arrived OK, all very happy with their rooms and their dinner and have now all had breakfast and gone out for the day. They are from all over but are all going to Pompadour to a dressage, show jumping and cross country event, panicked a little when all horseboxes arrived, but they were empty, horses stabled at the event. image

Now off to take Charlie horse riding and find a fancy dress costume for a 'choucroute' party he is going to tonight - don't ask I don't know the answer, seems to be a big thing in the village. image

I and OH will have to miss it as entertaining our guests again this evening. More cooking. image

Have a good day all, hope the weather perks up a bit. image
