Great to see posts from OL and so pleased the business is going well but more importantly did you plant up the tin bath?!!!
Liri you make me ache just thinking of all the heavy work you do! I def need to update on verduns new thread how you look! If your ground isn't frozen when you do the splitting I'm sure hosta will be fine, I have moved and split and even tried to lose at times and they still come back!
Hmmmm need more coffee I've forgotten what else I was gonna say
Oooh thank Lily - perfect timing I' ve just come in from the garden. I've dug over the area where the runner beans were and have sown a double row of broad beans. I think I'll get another pack of seeds at the weekend as I've used all of this pack and could do with another double row.
I'm not going to mow the lawns as my wrist aches after digging out the new crop of roots from the ash tree that have invaded the veg patch. Hopefully OH will have time to mow the lawns at the weekend.
We do love the ash trees but I'd rather their roots went deeper down - the problem is they seek out the moisture when I water the veg patch. They even pop up into the raised beds!
