So it is, Hostafan, but it's group 3 for pruning like the others I mentioned.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hello all!  Finally got on here and read back a bit...  Saw Chicky's Chicklet cake image which looks really scrummy, all the more so because I'm keeping off cake and puddings at the moment.  (When you're as short as I am, hiding an extra pound (or several! image) is difficult.)

Nice to meet you, TC!  Another seaside gardener?  I shall be picking your brains soon about suitable plants for seaside gardens, since my daughter moved to Galway.  image

Glad you've had a good day, Matty.  Hope you have a lovely time with your visitors!

You've inspired me to put my plastic growhouse up, GG.  I'm waiting for the weekend, when hopefully the Pennine drizzle will have stopped again.

Dove, hope your shuffling days are over, and you can reward yourself with some gardening!

Beaus Mum, what did you do in the garden today?  Hope the weather was kind...  and Beau was helpful...  image

BL, many congrats to your OH.  I'm encouraged by the English composer Havergal Brian, whose first symphony wasn't performed until he was 85...  and he wrote his last symphony (no.32!) aged 92.  Some of us just mature late... and certainly retirement is the ideal opportunity to try out new things.  Just not enough time to do all the things I have in mind.  image

Fantastic stuff on the Sewing Bee.  I feel inspired to get the sewing machine out again, though I'm not sure I've got the time...  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Just feel awful, but not really, some relatives have tried to invite themselves here for Sunday abut i don't want to share, not this time, never said no before. Hope you get my drift.

Quite like the idea of  Clem. Gravytye Beauty - it's red. Will put one up front wall to cover the ceanothus when it's finished flowering for  interest.

Night all - need to rest - and you bekkie
