Just had a jacket spud, beans and cheese for tea Got a love a trusty staple Not a fan of two of your meats KEF, so I'll just join you for the roast pork if that's ok
OH bought me some caramel thins, like after eights but with caramel instead of mint As he's off the sweeties the whole box is for me . . . . . anyone want to share
Panda you need to look at Verdun's new thread seems everyone thinks I look like Madonna they might have said Maradona telling porkies no one said anything of the sort
Now here's another thing: Sent for some photographic equipment from Amazon (Amazon Marketplace, to be exact) costing £90 and although it was shipped from the USA it did state 'free UK delivery'.
Today I received a letter from Parcel Force stating that 'you have been sent a parcel from overseas, delivery of this parcel to you is subject to payment of £35.60 Customs charges raised by Border Force on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs'.
Rapid email to Amazon resulted in the response that the vendor shouldn't charge for anything above the total amount of the order confirmation invoice and contact them for reimbursement. I did and they immediately apologised saying 'Sorry we shipped your order the wrong method the charges should have been prepaid' and if I would pay the delivery charges to secure my order, they would reimburse me via my Amazon account.
Getting a bit fed up with some deals I have done of late.
Heck David what have you done recently, killed a robin
Must have, KEF.....it's as if they know I hate inefficiency!
All's well anyway, have paid Parcel Force and just received an email from Amazon saying 'We are writing to confirm that we are processing your refund in the amount of £35.60 for your Order ***-***- ***'.
Hello everyone, just a quick visit to let you know I'm still here, just not around much at the moment.
Sorry to read on the other thread of everyone's troubles and poorly people.......big hugs to all those that need them, I may not be here but I'm still thinking of you all.
I'll have a look at Verdun's thread in a minute, does it involve cake
All is going fab but very busy. The environmental health officer came yesterday and OH was so pleased to get top marks and will get a 5 certificate.......so pleased and sales are going up so happy days, you never know I may be able to take early retirement one day and might actually get some gardening done
