  • Lily Pily, try the internet. You may be lucky they are £25 + p&p. Just google Tower poppies.

Chicky, only went just over a week ago and there seems so many more than when I saw them.

    Good morning all image

Great photos Chicky - glad you had a good time.

I was sure that I'd posted to tell you OH got back from his bike trip to the shops and that we'd had home made soup for lunch and several other posts, but they seem to have been blown away ..........

  • Morning all, looks like a nice day here.

Sounds like you had fun yesterday too BL, looking for somewhere to take son later this week, he has two weeks off for half term.

The poppies look amazing, bet when you are there the atmosphere is quite moving too.

Liri, hope the moving plans go ok for family, such a lot to think about, especially when children are involved. My son has an appointment with a heart specialist this morning, when we registered with French Dr he spotted potential problem and insisted we see someone. Probably/likely/hopefully nothing but he wanted to be sure. Never been noticed in UK before, they are very attentive here. He did say because son is so skinny (don't know where he gets it from) he can here all sorts of strange noises that are probably nothing. Poor son thinks he is gong to be cut in half for some strange reason, despite numerous assurances and explanations.

Anyway, speak to you all later.

DD - hope all goes well for son this morning - I'm sure it will ((hugs)).  They discovered my daughter had a heart murmur when she was a child - they said she may have had it all the time or it may have developed - they said it was 'innocent' and nothing needed to be done - nothing has been done and she's all grown up and married etc, and she's fine. image
