Do you get the bake off extra slice in France? It's so so funny
I bet your garden is looking amazing, you have worked so hard. I saw your rose and rockery thread and didn't comment as not an expert but I would put where you dreamed of having them in the first place as I'm sure they will both do well in either site
Thanks BM, can't cope with all these decisions, was fine until somebody did the Paul Hollywood thing! Yes we get extra slice - hilarious, wish it were longer.
Think Yvie has right idea about moving house too!

Clari, my plum tree leaves are falling off too, ditto the greengage. Thought it was because of autumn.
DD, I wonder where that nursery is. Why invitation only? Don't they want to sell plants?
Did lots of deadheading today. Watered a lot of the flower garden this evening, it was so dry, but now it's raining. OH has been ripping out a shrub bed that was planted over 20 years ago, cotoneaster horizontalis was scruffy with big dead bits and they was a horrid prickly bluish conifer spilling onto the path. It's been heavy going. He's gone to bed aching.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Good morning, we finally got a bit of rain here too for which I am truly grateful.
BL The nursery is called La Noyeraie and I went through Jumilac le Grand to get there. It was only a small place, apparently he sells on the markets. Everything is grown organically, he has goats and sheep too and sells the produce from them. He also had the most gorgeous puppies for sale, Mum and Dad were there too, gorgeous, was so tempted, but resisted - have enough on my hands as it is - I reminded myself! Good to hear you OH involved - mine definitely not playing!

Good morning all It's a misty autumnal morning here in Norfolk and there's a robin in the garden who thinks it's his - he chattered away angrily at me as I did my morning walkabout
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. Lovely pic Panda. If you have Yahoo - there's a pic on one of the links of a forest up here and it's just a sea of misty webs.
Dove - my resident robin gets a right strop on with me if I'm working outside for too long near 'his' feeder.
Just taken daughter to work - no chance of a lie in on my hols Lots to do and looks like it'll be dry. Having an early dinner though as I'm going to see James Taylor tonight with my sis. Hankies will be at the ready for when he does Fire and Rain
Off for a look round to catch up. Have a good day everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
