Hi all, sounds like you all have had good and busy days, hope you had the sunshine we had
Did well painting out the front and doing as fairy advised making a good first impression for any viewers. I even did neighbours path side garden bit and it looks fab, don't know why I've never done it before! Hopefully they will be pleased as they are away at the mo and not gardeners!
Chicky you asked about the garden of house we like I don't want to get too excited as we are long way off from it happening yet but it is much bigger than our current one and kinda split into three sections. First section is a terrace across the back of house then steps down to big pond and couple of borders then through an arch to huge lawn area and then best of all it backs on to fields No landscaping at all so pretty much a blank canvas
Dont wanna get too excited but do keep dreaming about it
If that house is meant to be yours it will be, but if doesnt happen then there will be a better one just around the corner. Thats been my philosophy at every house move, its the only way to stay sane.
Evening All, Just managed to catch up with Bake Off after hectic week, poor Martha, Still got to get to Strictly ad OH away tomorrow for week so have to wait until Friday – eek, how will I survive??
BM – the stress of buying our current home was awful, each day I thought it would all fall through, but been here six months now and loving it, never believed the dream would come true – I wish you all the luck in the world.
If anyone gets chance, or can find it, please look at my rose garden/rockery post, I am desperate for someone to tell me what to do. Roses will be here in November and I change my mind from hour to hour about where to put them.
Went to a lovely nursery today (privileged invitation only – no idea how I ended up on that list), wonderful place, salvia after salvia, lilies, dahlia, grasses, so many perennials. I was however, very disciplined, only bought one red lily and lots of bulbs for my layered containers a là Monty Don. Once my digging is complete may well find myself back there again, was magnificent and prices seemed to be very reasonable too. Nearly came home with a puppy too, €25 for a lovely fluffy ball of something. Didn’t think Marmalade would be impressed though.
Tomorrow, first free day for a week will be digging, hoeing and planting bulbs all day – can’t wait!
Best get some sleep! Goodnight all.

I'm lucky as really love my home and garden so not in hurry to move and at least I'm getting all my jobs done at home
Will be lovely if it happens and lovely if not if you get what I mean
Thanks for putting the pics up Chicky
Your borders are straight out of Wisley
Lovely and deep.
